On the occasion of Dario Argento’s 85th birthday, Filmpodium Zurich dedicated a film series to the maestro of Italian horror cinema. As part of a design competition, we created the poster and visual identity for the program. The concept centered on the atmosphere of fear – visualized not through cliché horror imagery, but through typography itself. Argento’s name becomes a scream, fragmented and distorted, paired with a still from his debut film L’Uccello dalle Piume di Cristallo(1970).
